Why You Can't Submit a Proposal: Requirements Checklist

A checklist of everything that must be in place before you can submit a proposal on a Wayfinder RFP.

Updated today

If you're having trouble submitting a proposal β€” or can't see the Submit Proposal button at all β€” work through this checklist. All of the following must be true before you can submit.

1. Your Profile Is Verified

You must have a verified provider profile. If your claim is still pending or hasn't been submitted yet, you won't be able to submit proposals. Verification takes a few business hours, up to 2 business days.

2. Your Services & Waivers Tab Is Complete

Go to your agency profile and open the Services & Waivers tab. For the RFP you're trying to respond to, confirm that:

  • The correct specialty code is listed

  • The correct Medicaid waiver is associated with that service (for example, DD waiver or SLS waiver)

Both must be present. A specialty code without the matching waiver β€” or vice versa β€” will prevent submission.

3. You Haven't Been Excluded From This RFP

Case managers can exclude specific providers from individual RFPs. If you've been excluded, you won't be able to submit a proposal for that RFP. Contact the case manager or contact us if you believe this is an error.

4. You Haven't Already Submitted a Proposal

You can only submit one proposal per RFP. If you've already submitted, the option to submit again won't appear. See Editing or Withdrawing a Submitted Proposal if you need to make a change.

Still Stuck?

If all of the above are in order and you still can't submit, contact us and we'll help.
