What PASAs Don't Need to Manage Manually (Auto-Sync Explained)

How Wayfinder automatically keeps waiver authorizations and CMA associations current for PASA providers, and what that means for RFP matching.

Updated today

If your agency is a PASA (Program Approved Service Agency), Wayfinder automatically keeps certain parts of your profile current using data from the state. There are a few things you simply don't need to manage manually.

What Is a PASA?

PASAs are IDD (intellectual and developmental disabilities) providers that are accreditation-listed with Colorado's Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF).

What Gets Auto-Synced

Wayfinder pulls and continuously updates the following from state data:

  • Medicaid waiver authorizations — The waivers your agency is approved to provide services under.

  • CMA associations — The case management agencies your agency is associated with.

You do not need to enter or update these manually. They stay current automatically.

How This Affects RFP Matching

For PASAs, RFP distribution is based on your CMA associations — not just your listed services. If a case manager from a CMA that isn't associated with your agency sends an RFP, you won't receive it even if you offer the relevant service.

Because these associations are managed via state data, you can't edit them directly in Wayfinder. If you believe your agency should be associated with a particular CMA but isn't, contact us and we'll look into it.

What You Still Manage Yourself

Auto-sync covers waivers and CMA associations only. All other profile content — your description, locations, care settings, ages, languages, RFP notification emails, and visibility settings — is still managed manually through your profile tabs.
