Updating your provider profile

How to make changes to help care-seekers find you more easily.

Updated over a week ago

At Wayfinder, we connect over 2,150 (and growing!) providers with Coloradans who have disabilities. As a provider, you can "claim" your free profile and keep it updated with your latest service offerings, location details, and more — helping care-seekers find you easily. Follow these simple steps to claim and update your profile.

Create a Provider Account

To get started, create a new account on Wayfinder. When registering, be sure to select Service Provider under the user type. This will ensure you have the right access to manage your profile and services.

Request to Claim Your Profile

Once your account is created, follow the onboarding steps in the chat, or click the My Business link in the navigation bar. You'll find a form that allows you to request access to claim your profile. This step helps us verify that only authorized representatives can update the information on the public profile.

Make Profile Updates

After we verify your request, which takes about 24 business hours, you’ll receive a confirmation email. At this point, you’ll have full admin access to update your profile. Navigate to My Business to see several tabs on the left-hand side, where you can make changes to the following sections of your profile:

  • General: Update your company name, logo, contact information, and profile visibility.

  • Profile: Add a brief description and biography to highlight what makes your services unique.

  • Locations: Provide directions and contact details for each of your in-person locations.

  • Services: List the services you offer to clients.

  • Insurances & Waivers: Specify the Medicaid waivers and private insurance plans you accept.

  • Counties: Define the geographic areas where your services are available.

  • Care Settings: Indicate where you offer services, including in-home and virtual options.

  • Ages: Specify the age groups you serve, from children to older adults.

  • Languages: List the languages spoken by your staff or any translation services offered.

Please note that for Program Approved Service Agencies (PASAs), the Case Management Agencies and Medicaid Waivers you serve will be automatically updated using public data from the state.

View Your Updated Profile

Once you’ve made your changes, you can preview your updated profile by clicking the View Profile button located in the header.
